Bodega J. Belda is a family winery founded in 1931. The current wine maker is Daniel Belda, a professional enologist who has inherited a long family tradition of wine making.
He brings a new vision and personal touch to the art of winemaking through the production of mainly varietal wines. Each wine has great enological potential and is well-known for its excellent quality.
The vineyards are ideally located at the foot of a hillside at a height of 600 meters. Carefully rooted in a limestone layer and sandy loam soil, the vineyards are exposed to warm Mediterranean days and cold continental nights. The extreme temperature conditions enable a slow maturing process that, with care and dedication, give Bodega J. Belda's wines certain and personal characteristics.
The vineyards stretch over approximately 160 hectares and produces both indigenous and non-native. All varieties are perfectly adapted to the conditions of the region.
Bodega J. Belda exports its wines to Belgium, Ireland and USA.
